Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can apply, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene rules and self-checks in the food safety plan
- Basic cooking skills: cooking, assembling, cutting
- Knowledge of food allergies and the needs of young children
- Knowledge of cleaning products and bottle sterilisation
- Follows quality procedures and reports problems
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 12:30, and Friday 8:30 to 13:30
- Remote work not possible
- Employer contribution to insurance and health if labelled contracts; CNAS membership
