Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C. The grades are adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal de 2e classe or 1re classe.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP collective catering, CAP cuisine or bac pro cuisine
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of HACCP rules and how to apply them.
- Knowledge of collective catering.
- Skill in cooking techniques used in collective catering.
- Skill in using kitchen equipment.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver meals to the sites.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work starts early in the morning.
- Leave must be taken during school holidays.
