Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know listening, communication and activity-leading techniques.
- Know basic child psychology and teaching for young children.
- Be trained in first aid.
- Be patient, attentive and alert.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Enjoy working with children.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer page. Send your application to the Mayor, at the Péronne town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
