Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open to auxiliary nurse grades and to nurse grades being phased out.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood care or auxiliary nurse diploma (auxiliaire de puériculture)
The profile they look for:
- Have good listening, observation and adaptation skills.
- Be able to work in a team and with the public.
- Be rigorous and punctual.
- Know the psychomotor development of toddlers.
- Know personal hygiene and feeding rules for toddlers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
