Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible for the Adjoint technique grade (category C).

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer’s website, reached from the official offer. The application asks for a CV and a cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work uniform provided and mandatory
- 37.5 hours per week, spread according to service needs
