Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the sorting rules and the types of waste.
- Know the safety rules and the risks of the job.
- Be able to operate the compactor and use the IT tool.
- Have good physical endurance.
- Be strict about safety rules.
- Have a team spirit, initiative and good organisation skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
