Civil servants of the local public service and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Ability to listen and use good judgement.
- Good organisation and ability to adapt.
- Alertness, quick reactions and teamwork.
- Managing stress, conflicts and difficult situations.
- Knowing the right actions in case of accident, allergic reaction or behaviour problems.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 30 days)
Apply on the employer's website, linked from the official offer. You can also send or drop off your CV and cover letter at the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, less than 50% of full working time.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category C post.
