Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: Book trade diploma desired
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Know local government and the French territorial civil service.
- Use office software and IT tools, including MICRO BIB.
- Have good general and literary knowledge.
- Have experience in a library.
- Enjoy welcoming the public and working in a team.
- Show autonomy, rigour and good organisation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
