Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, at the adjoint d'animation grade (category C).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Set up spaces for activities while following safety rules.
- Know how to play with children and encourage them to play.
- Manage conflicts and enforce the group's rules.
- Communicate well with the team and the site manager.
- Be able to cover shifts at the different reception sites.
- Driving licence (permis B) and a car are required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Covering shifts is possible at the different reception sites of the community of communes.
- No contact within 4 to 6 weeks means the application was not selected.
