Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring is possible without a competitive exam, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA, CPJEPS or BPJEPS (obtained or in progress), or CAP petite enfance
Experience: 3 years required as an activity agent
The profile they look for:
- BAFA, CPJEPS or BPJEPS (obtained or in progress), or CAP petite enfance.
- 3 years of experience as an activity agent required.
- Driving licence (category B) required.
- Able to work on your own and in a team.
- Kind, a good listener, and firm when needed.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the employer's website linked on the official offer, or send your CV and cover letter by post or by email to the council, quoting the offer number.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Split and irregular hours (early morning before school, evening after school).
- Travel across the whole area.
- No remote work possible.
