Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, as the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA, CAP AEPE or equivalent preferred; HACCP training and PSC1 first aid certificate appreciated.
Experience: Experienced candidate requested.
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for children's group care and HACCP food safety standards.
- Be able to plan and run activities suited to children.
- Use reheating equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
- Patience, listening and kindness with young children.
- Versatility, rigour and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Part-time post, with less than 50% of a full-time schedule.
- Remote work not possible.
- No management duties.
