Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades can apply, and so can contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because this entry grade in category C allows it.

The profile they look for:
- Public service mindset and good welcoming skills
- Rigour in following instructions and procedures
- Independence and ability to work in a team
- Manual skills and handling of common DIY tools
- Driving small vans under 3.5 t and manscopic machines is a plus
- Driving licence B required
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
