Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP Early Childhood Educational Assistant
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of child psychology and child development.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with families.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and food rules.
- Able to work on your own, stay organised and suggest ideas.
- Hold the CAP Accompagnant éducatif petite enfance.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
