Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Childcare CAP (for the ATSEM grade) or a diploma suited to the job
Experience: Confirmed, proven experience

- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and activity rules
- Calm and professional in difficult situations
- Good people skills, listening and diplomacy
- Respect for confidentiality and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
