Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of slaughtering or meat cutting
- Knowledge of hygiene and health rules
- Office software skills appreciated
- Good customer service sense
- Teamwork and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your cover letter and CV by post to the president of the community of communes.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post: 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Tuesday.
- Post vacant from 1 November 2026.
- Open grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class (category C).
