Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Know the rules for administrative acts (urban planning, elections, public land).
- Know how to write administrative documents.
- Know how local authorities work and how decisions are made.
- Use professional software and office tools well.
- Master communication techniques.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
