Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C does not require one. Contract hiring is also possible for recognised disabled workers.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Know the chemical risks of cleaning products
- Know cleaning techniques
- Be able to use a scrubber-dryer or floor scrubber
- Know basic administrative and computer tools
- Be dynamic, reactive, autonomous and rigorous
- Driving licence B required
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 13 days)
Apply on the La Hague town website through the « Portail usager » platform, or send your file by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
