Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know basic cleaning techniques.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Be discreet when working in occupied rooms.
- Be independent and quick to act.
- Report problems or faults to your manager.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time job of 12 hours a week.
- Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and hours may be adapted.
- Frequent movement between town buildings, all within 200 metres.
- Remote work is not possible.
