Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP to Bac level. Ideally in security, mediation, prevention or public contact.
Experience: Not stated. A first field job with the public is welcome.
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP to Bac level, ideally in security or mediation.
- Knowledge of cleanliness rules and the Mayor's policing powers.
- Knowledge of procedures for recording and fining offences.
- Ability to handle tense situations calmly.
- Ability to write clear and precise administrative documents.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Hours: Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm.
- You will get an acknowledgement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited within one month after the deadline.
