Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level V diploma (CAP or BEP level)
The profile they look for:
- Master cleaning and manual handling techniques.
- Know hygiene (HACCP) and safety rules.
- Know cleaning products and how to use and store them safely.
- Work well in a team and stay organised.
- Be punctual, reactive and versatile.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
