Civil servants holding the adjoint technique grades can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can also be hired directly, as this is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP animal keeper or BAC PRO agricultural or CGEA
The profile they look for:
- CAP animal keeper or BAC PRO agricultural or CGEA.
- ACACED certificate for cats or dogs.
- Good knowledge of dog and cat behaviour.
- Very good physical fitness to carry loads.
- Team spirit, calm and respect for instructions.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply using the button on the official Choisir le Service Public offer. Current city civil servants send their application file by email to the recruitment department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Position vacant from 21 December 2026.
- Category C, adjoint technique grades.
