Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA desired
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Experience in childcare or youth activities.
- Energetic, adaptable, patient and good with people.
- Follows safety rules and is discreet.
- Team spirit.
- BAFA (youth leader certificate) is desired.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
