Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A competition pass is not needed, as the grade is an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Commitment to public service and to supporting elderly people.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and cleaning protocols.
- Ability to work in a team and pass on reliable information.
- Good organisation, autonomy, rigour and professional discretion.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required for the company vehicle.
- Hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with one weekend in two.
- Work uniform provided by the residence.
- CAP or Bac Pro ASSP diplomas and experience with elderly people are appreciated.
