Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hot and cold food preparation.
- Knowledge of how a catering service works.
- Good command of collective hygiene rules (HACCP-PMS).
- Team spirit and good organisation.
- Friendly approach and public service mindset.
- Punctual, responsible and quick to react.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Morning hours: 7:30 to 15:18, Monday to Saturday.
- Days off rotate: either Monday to Friday off, or Monday to Saturday with another day off.
