Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in a related field (typical diplomas)
The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, masonry, painting or green spaces
- Good use of hand and power tools, following safety rules
- Driving licence category B essential
- Electrical authorisations or CACES certificates strongly valued
- Team spirit and ability to work on your own
- Public service mindset
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
