Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Teamwork.
- Travel between work sites.
- Being available and punctual.
- Professional discretion and a sense of public service.
- Energy, rigour and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 9 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on the employer's website. The CV and cover letter can also be sent by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Seasonal work, with peaks linked to the weather.
- Frequent travel between several sites.
