Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required, heavy vehicle licence (permis PL) preferred.
- Knowledge of natural environments and how they work.
- Knowledge of workplace safety rules.
- Rigour, autonomy and punctuality.
- Ability to do manual work.
- Self-control, firmness and dialogue with users.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
