Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hot and cold food chain techniques
- Know how a catering service works
- Follow collective hygiene rules (HACCP-PMS)
- Work well in a team and pass on information
- Be punctual, honest and responsible
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 33 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the button on the official offer on Choisir le Service Public. You can also call the head of the catering department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category C, technical assistant grades.
- Restaurants open 5 or 6 days a week, lunch service and evening self-service for some.
