The job is open to civil servants and contract staff. It can be filled by someone who did not pass a civil service exam, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Technology baccalaureate
Experience: At least 5 years in a local authority technical service or a construction company, as a team leader
The profile they look for:
- Master building trades: masonry, plumbing, electrical work
- Know current technical standards and rules
- Lead and motivate small teams
- Know safety rules and working time management in local government
- Show diplomacy, listening skills and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
