Diploma: Higher education in public law (bac+3 minimum, bac+5 a plus)
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Higher education in public law, at least bac+3, bac+5 is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of the French public procurement code.
- Knowledge of how local authorities work.
- Good command of public tender procedures.
- Ability to analyse a procedure legally.
- Ability to organise and follow several files at once.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working hours vary according to service needs.
- Availability required during busy periods linked to public tenders.
- May take part in tender committees.
