Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Petite enfance (required)
The profile they look for:
- CAP Petite enfance (early childhood) required.
- Know active listening, communication and activity-leading techniques.
- Know basic hygiene and safety rules in group settings.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Good team spirit and sense of public service.
- Discreet, alert and good at listening.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
