Civil servants and people who are not civil servants can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP (level 3) in collective catering or food trades, or work experience in catering
Experience: Experience in collective catering is preferred
The profile they look for:
- Follow food hygiene and safety rules
- Identify the nutritional needs of children
- Pass on instructions, check activity and report back
- Experience in collective catering is preferred
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
