Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BPJEPS with the « direction d'un accueil collectif de mineurs » certificate, or BAFD
Experience: Confirmed experience in childcare or youth activities
The profile they look for:
- BPJEPS with the « direction d'un accueil collectif de mineurs » certificate, or BAFD
- First aid training
- Driving licence category B required
- Experience in childcare or youth activities
- Independence and rigour in administrative work
- Knowledge of rules for leisure childcare centres
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
