What you would do
- Repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as unclogging toilets.
- Replace steam traps, valves, and air filters in heating and cooling systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on air-handling units and exhaust fans.
- Build, install, and repair doors, shelving, partitions, and other wood or metal parts.
- Read work orders and wiring diagrams to plan repairs.
