Do you qualify for VN?
With experience: Your experience must match the nurse level you apply for, from Nurse I Level I up to Nurse III. For example, a Nurse II with a BSN needs 2 years of professional nursing experience equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3.
With education: A nursing degree can qualify you, depending on the level. An Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing qualifies for Nurse I Level I, and a BSN qualifies for Nurse I Level II. You must graduate from a nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE, and your degree must come from an accredited school recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Foreign degrees do not count as related degrees.
Licenses and certifications you need:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia
