Education: Post-secondary diploma from an Ontario accredited college program, such as Animal Health Technology or Veterinary Technology.
Experience: Extensive experience in direct animal care, in an animal shelter setting. Experience with a computerized records system and standard PC software.

- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians.
- Extensive hands-on experience in animal shelter care.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence, obtained by the time of job offer.
- Rabies immunization with regular titre testing.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
