The competition is an open competition, so anyone who meets the requirements can apply. The posting does not state citizenship or work permit rules.
Education: University graduation in a related field. Equivalent education or experience may be considered, at 1 year for 1 year. A master's degree is an asset.
Experience: 4 years of progressively responsible related experience. Required: policy research, government policy, leading complex initiatives and briefing senior leaders.
What they ask for:
- University degree in a related field plus 4 years related experience, or equivalent
- Experience doing policy research, analysis and evidence-based recommendations
- Experience with government policy, legislation or regulatory frameworks
- Experience independently leading complex multi-partner policy or program initiatives
- Experience preparing briefing materials for senior or executive leaders
2 Resume and cover letter
Tailor your resume to this posting: use its words and show each requirement with a concrete example. In Canada, leave out your photo, age and marital status. Add a short cover letter if the posting asks for one or accepts it.
