This is an open competition, so anyone who meets the requirements can apply. Citizenship or work permit rules are not stated.
Education: University graduation in a related field such as computer science or IT. Equivalency: 1 year of education can count as 1 year of experience, and the reverse.
Experience: Minimum 7 years developing and implementing cloud-based IT services, plus experience leading technical teams.
What they ask for:
- University degree in computer science, IT or a related technology field.
- At least 7 years developing IT services in a cloud-based environment.
- Experience leading high-performing technical teams in a management role.
- Experience with project management methods such as waterfall and agile.
- Strong IT technical expertise and skill in developing strategic roadmaps.
2 Resume and cover letter

4 Interview, tests and references

- The competition may be used to fill future vacancies across the Government of Alberta at the same or lower level.
- A written assessment may be required during the interview process.
- Final candidates must pass a criminal records check, and may need a Level 2 Enhanced Security screening.
