1 Check who can apply You are here
This is an open competition, so anyone who meets the requirements can apply. Citizenship or work permit rules are not stated.

What they ask for:
- Two-year diploma in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for legislation and policy.
- Ability to review financial documents and perform accurate calculations.
- Excellent judgment and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume, deadline-driven workload.
2 Resume and cover letter
Tailor your resume to this posting: use its words and show each requirement with a concrete example. In Canada, leave out your photo, age and marital status. Add a short cover letter if the posting asks for one or accepts it.

Apply online through the official posting, using the job application resources. Include a resume with months and years for all education and work, plus a cover letter showing how you meet the requirements.
4 Interview, tests and references
If you are shortlisted, they contact you, often by email. Interviews can be in person or by video, and some jobs also have a written or practical test. Have two or three references ready: former supervisors who know your work.
Good to know:
- Work from the Edmonton office, Monday to Friday.
- Candidates pay their own costs for required checks and interview travel.
- The competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same or lower level.
- For education from outside Canada, an IQAS or other credential assessment is recommended.
Kandidatu is an independent website: only the official posting counts. Read it before you apply.
